 EID-UL-ADHA:

Eid-ul-Adha is the second biggest festival of Muslims. It is also called "Festival of the Sacrifice". This festival is celebrated in the memory of the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son.
Actually, Prophet Ibrahim (S.A.W) saw a dream that Allah is instructing him to sacrifice his son and when Prophet SAW told that dream to his son Ismail (A.S), he told his father Ibrahim to obey the order of Allah. He (S.A.W) tied the hands and legs of Ismail (A.S) and laid him to sacrifice him then at the spot Allah replaced Ismail (A.S) with a lamb and in this way Ibrahim gave sacrifice of a lamb and Ismail was standing at the side of Ibrahim. To remind this memory Muslims all around the world sacrifices animals like cow goat sheep camel etc. on 10th of zill-hajj.  People, who are performing Hajj gives sacrifices during hajj and other people gives sacrifices in their countries and fulfil the Sunnah of Ibrahim (SAW).

Usually, 7 people can take part in sacrifice of Cow and 11 people can take part in sacrifice of a camel. The meat of the sacrificed animal is divided into three parts one is for poor and second is for family and relatives and 3rd is for their selves. All division should be made equal to equally gain the blesssings of Allah.
As stated above Eid ul Adha is celebrated on 10th of zil hajj and these celebrations lasts four days from 10th zil hajj to 13th of zil hajj. Well in Gregorian calendar this date varies every year with 10 days but in Islamic calendar it date of celebration is fixed.
This festival is the second biggest festival for Muslims as It leads them to the Sunnah of Hazrat Ibrahim. The word “EID” has come once in surah Al Maida. As Eid ul fitar, this eid also starts with a prayer of two Rakaats and also with a khutba of imaam and after prayer, people starts sacrificing animals and fulfils Sunnah. Muslims can sacrifice animals any time in these three days of Eid. Usually Muslims prefer 1st day to sacrifice their animals and remaining two days they distribute meat among needy and deserving people and also by enjoying among their family members.

In short eid ul adha is the way to gain the blessings of Allah. Every person should sacrifice animals on this eid who can afford and should also remember those who cannot sacrifice animals due to their financial problems.
On this special day of Muslims, middle east video greet a very happy eid Mubarak to all Muslims around the world. May this Eid be the happiest one for All………!!
